The Bible is Inspired by God. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to oureveryday lives. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12)
The fall of humanity, sin separated each of us from God and His purpose for ourlives (Rom 6:23, Rom. 5:8-12)
The salvation of humanity, the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the onlyOne who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on thecross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. Inorder to receive forgiveness and the “new birth”, we must repent of our sins andplace our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 5:8-12, John 3:16)
The ordinances of the church: Baptism in water and Holy Communion. (Matt.28:18-20, 1 Cor. 11:24)
The baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the caring Spirit ofGod who empowers us to live holy lives and to minister to those around us moreeffectively. We believe that the Holy Spirit baptizes us (a) into the Body of Christ, (b)into the fullness of His supernatural power. We believe in the present ministry of theHoly Spirit and in the exercise of all the biblical spiritual gifts (Gal 5:16, Luke 24:49,Acts 1:8, 1 Cor. 12).
The Church and its mission. The Church has a mission to seek and save all whohave not come to the knowledge of Jesus christ. We believe “the Church” consists ofthe people who, throughout time, have accepted God’s offer of redemption throughthe sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20, Eph. 1:22-23, 2:19-22).
In the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth. We believe in theresurrection of the body and the final judgment resulting in the eternal blessing of therighteous and the endless punishment of the wicked (1 Thes. 4:16-17, Matt.25:31-46)
The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Scripturesdeclare: His virgin birth (Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:31-35). His sinless life (Heb 7;26, 1 Peter2:22). His miracles (Acts 2:22, Acts 10:38). His substitutionary sacrifice on thecross (1 Cor. 15:3, 2 Cor. 5:21). His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matt. 28:6,Luke 24:39, 1 Cor.15:4).His ascension to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9-11, Heb.1:3).
